CHINA, LATE MING-EARLY QING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
The top of the larger carved and undercut with a small bird-headed dragon behind the chilong that crawls towards the dragon-head hook, the circular stud carved with a coiled dragon, the mottled pale greenish-grey stone semi-opaque; the smaller carved on top in high relief with a chilong above a flower-head stud on the underside, the hook carved as a dragon head, the stone of white and pale brown color
6 and 4 ½ in. (15.3 and 11.5 cm.) long
