The central figure seated in padmasana on a rectangular plinth incised with a lengthy inscription on the back and two sides, the figure resting his left hand on a curved armrest and holding a fan and lotus blossom in his right, the bearded face with serene expression and the hair tied in a topknot, flanked by two diminutive Daoist immortals dressed in heavy robes
The largest 18 in. (45.7 cm.) high

The inscription on the base of the central figure states that this figure of Yuanshi Tianzun, or the Celestial Worthy of Primordial Beginning, was donated by Sui Shiyong for his deceased father, brother, and ancestors.
