CHINA, QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The figure shown standing on a double-lotus base with the right hand in varadamudra and the left holding a lotus blossom, dressed in billowing robes with incised hems, the face with downcast expression centered by a raised urna, the tight curls of the hair in blue pigment over the ushnisha and topped with a knob
