the pierced shaped oval basket with bail handle, moulded with scroll panels painted with vignettes of birds among brancheson a pale blue and pink leaf-moulded groundm the rim and handle applied with flowers and leaves, supported by four branch feet, painted in colours and gilt -- 11¾in. (30cm.) wide; and a globular ozier moulded oil lamp base applied with leaves and nuts and suuported by three winged putti wearing loose drapes, on a circular mound base, painted in colours, underglaze blue mark, applied with a metal rim -- 6¼in.
