A RARE LARGE LONGQUAN CELADON CARVED BOWL
CHINA, SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The bowl with deep, rounded sides fluidly carved on the interior with two leafy peony stems rising from the center towards the rim, and in relief on the exterior with a band of narrow petals that rise from the small foot, covered overall and on the base with an unctuous glaze of sea-green color
