CHINA, YUAN-MING DYNASTY, 13TH-14TH CENTURY
Heavily potted, the exterior carved with lotus petals, the concave warming surface fluidly carved with a lotus flower, the unglazed base burnt orange in the firing around a central aperture through which the hollowed interior would have been filled
