A LARGE GILT-DECORATED PALE GREEN AND LAVENDER JADEITE TABLE SCREEN
The jadeite plaque, with pale green and lavender mottling, is decorated in gilding with two ladies on one side and two cranes amidst pine on the reverse.
16 in. (40.7cm.) high, wood stand

Provenance

Lizzadro Collection, Chicago, Illinois, acquired prior to 1960.

A green and lavender jadeite table screen of the same size, also similarly decorated in gilding on one side with the immortal Lan Caihe, and on the other side with birds, was sold at Sotheby's New York, 16-17 September 2014, lot 312.
