KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
Each rounded dish is painted in deep blue with a central medallion of an ascending five-clawed dragon and a descending phoenix amidst cloud scrolls, the exterior similarly decorated with a dragon and a phoenix amidst clouds.
