A DOUCAI 'PEACH' DISH
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The dish is decorated on the interior with a central medallion of a flowering branch bearing a peach enclosing a shou character, with four similar peaches borne on the surrounding leafy scroll. The exterior is decorated with four detached iron-red lingzhi sprays.
