A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE 'NARCISSUS' WINE CUPS AND A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE 'CRANE AND BAGUA' SMALL BOWLS
GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The cups are delicately decorated in pale cobalt with narcissus and rocks on each side. The pair of small bowls are decorated in rich sapphire-blue tones on the exterior with four cranes alternating between cloud scrolls and the Eight Trigrams, bagua, and the center of the interior with a leaping dragon embracing a flaming pearl.
The cups: 1 ¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high; the bowls: 2 ¾ in. (7 cm.) diam.
