PROBABLY UDAIPUR, MEWAR, NORTH INDIA, MID 19TH CENTURY
Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the crowned deity wearing a diaphanous pink sari and carrying her attributes, the tiger composed of female figures leaping behind a walking Hanuman wearing a crown and holding a lotus flower head and and umbrella over his right shoulder, within pink margins with repeating gold stylised leaf motifs; the reverse with a register depicting a court scene above and a champion defeating two giants below whilst a woman pays her respect to a passing man in red garb, mounted, framed and glazed
