The double-edged watered-steel blade of typical form with reinforced tip and raised medial ridge, the hilt with gold-damascened scrolling floral vine decoration, the facetted double grips with bands of geometric strapwork, the forte with two bands of devanagari inscriptions and a band of scrolling vine, in later velvet covered wooden sheath
