A GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE CENSER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The compressed globular body is decorated with a horizontal raised band, flanked on either side with a handle in the form of an elephant-head, the surface adorned with gilt splashes. The base is cast with an apocryphal Xuande mark.
