A CARVED GREEN JADE DISC, BI
HAN DYNASTY (206 BC - AD 220)
The disc is carved on each side with a raised diaper ground encircling the aperture, and an outer register of abstract scrolling dragons, divided by a rope-twist border. The opaque green stone is suffused with russet and milky inclusions.
