CIRCA 1888, BLUE SCEPTRE AND IRON-RED ORB MARKS, INCISED MONOGRAM ATTRIBUTED TO MAX HENKLEIN
In the Neo-Rococo taste, the cover finely painted and hand-tooled in white slip with a scantily clad seated maiden scattering petals, within a beaded ogival quatrefoil cartouche, the reserves enriched with ‘jeweled’ flowers, the interior gilt with similar flowers
