Lot Essay

Previously aligned with the Schiller manufactory, Gerbing & Stephan is recorded in Bodenbach as a maker of majolica, fayence and terracotta wares from 1885 until circa 1898. Various iterations of the Gerbing family continued producing ceramics until around 1910.
