WITH ATTRIBUTION TO REZA-I 'ABBASI, SAFAVID IRAN, DATED 1 SHAWWAL AH 1041/21 APRIL 1632 AD
Pen and ink on paper, a dragon coiled around a gazelle is engaged in fierce combat with a pouncing lion, from the rocky outcrop beyond them a single figure looks on, with later attribution to Reza-i 'Abbasi and date of Shawwal 1061 along the lower edge, later owner's stamp in the lower right hand corner, laid down between pink borders on brown card and white paper
