Arabic manuscript on paper, 170ff. plus 2 fly-leaves, each folio with 19ll. of elegant black naskh, gold and polychrome verse roundels, sura headings in black and red on gold and polychrome illuminated panels, text panels set within gold rules, gold and polychrome marginal hizb markers, the opening bifolio fully illuminated in gold and polychrome surrounding text in clouds reserved against gold ground, within margins with interlocking palmettes, the second bifolio with similar text, the margins with gold arabesque design, the end of the text with prayers written in black and red naskh on gold ground, in a floral lacquer binding with gold-speckled ground, the doublures with gold scrolling arabesque on red ground
