Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Hoen (Okawa Teikan; 1828-1898) and with an unidentified seal
The rectangular tray set on four short bracket feet, the central panel finely chiseled and inlaid in gold and silver with a winged hiten (apsara) holding a lotus flower
5 ½ x 7 7/8 in. (14 x 20 cm.)
