Meiji period (late 19th century), inlaid seal mark Ichiraku
The body applied with two handles, designed with two panels inlaid in gold, silver, shakudo and shibuichi with a bird perched on a blossoming cherry tree on one side, and a butterfly and hibiscus on the opposite side, each panel surrounded by floral diaper work, the lid with lappets designed with various geometric patterns and set with a silver lion finial holding a rotating glass jewel, signature on base
