With unusual fret-carved doors backed in printed modern velvet depicting books, lacking shelves, the cylinder with a pull-out leather-lined writing surface beneath various ivory-handled small drawers and pigeon holes, and with three ebony-strung drawers below, the apron decorated with ivory roundels
