Months Old Bred by Mr Will.m Sainsbury...Obtained the 1st Prize of 80£ Second Class/ at the Royal Agricultural Show of cattle held at Darby in 1843/ Painted at Darby by J. Loder. Animal Painter of Bath./ This Ram corrected/ & finished by Mr WH Davis/1848.' (lower centre)
