Lot Essay

The Journal of Katherine Mansfield was edited by her husband, John Middleton Murry, and published by Constable in 1927, while The Letters, again edited by Murry, were published by Constable in 2 volumes in 1928. These typescripts are probably final proofs for the printers. There are no annotations, save where Murry has overwritten in red ink on faded type, and the text appears unchanged from the final published works.
