A 'THUMBPRINT' AGATE SNUFF BOTTLE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The well-hollowed bottle is of pebble form and is carved with a small concave oval-form foot. The stone is of a greyish-beige tone suffused with attractive purplish-white 'thumbprint'-form inclusions.
2 in. (5.1 cm.) high, stopper
