SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)
The bowl is deftly carved to the interior with a branching leafy stem that frames a large central peony blossom, covered overall with a deep olive-green glaze, the unglazed foot ring burnt brown in the firing.
5 7/8 in. (15 cm.) diam.
