A BLUE AND WHITE 'PRUNUS' BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bowl is delicately painted to the exterior with three branches of blossoming prunus, all reserved on a cracked ice ground above a lotus band to the foot. The interior is similarly decorated with a roundel and band to the rim.
7 ¾ in. (19.5 cm.) diam.
