A BLUE AND WHITE 'DOUBLE-XI' BOWL
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The bowl is decorated with four double xi characters, each surmounted by a bat and interspersed by upright hibiscus blooms, amongst stylised scrolling leafy peach and lotus sprays.
8 ¾ in. (21.2 cm.) diam.
