Of sarcophagus form, the hinged lid with pinecone finial enclosing a metal liner with single division on carved lion's paw feet with anti-fraction castors, flanked by fluted handles, stamped 'WILKINSON LUDGATE HILL / 8091', the locks stamped 'TURNERS / W.HAMPTON / PATANT' chalked in blue to the underside '5880'
