FIRST EDITION. With two finely hand-coloured ceiling designs. Thomas employed three engravers who had worked on the Adams brothers’ Works in Architecture. Subscribers included many of the leading architects of the day, amongst them James Wyatt, James Stuart, Henry Holland, Robert Adam and Sir William Chambers.
