AN EXCEPTIONAL PRIVATE COLLECTION OF FINE WINES INCLUDING PETRUS, 2005 FIRST GROWTH BORDEAUX, 1999 LA TACHE AND RARE MAGNUMS FROM GIACOMO CONTERNO
The following lots (102 to 177) are part of a superb private collection that we are privileged to offer and features many of Europe's greatest producers. The Bordeaux section includes five vintages of Pétrus with the 1989 offered in both magnums and bottles, the exceptional 1996 Château Margaux and a selection of first growths from the highly-regarded 2005 vintages. Within the Burgundy section undoubted highlights are the ranges of wines from Domaine Leflaive, as are 1999s from DRC and Domaine Ponsot, while Champagne is represented by Cristal and Dom Pérignon Oenothèque from the superlative 1996. The collection ends with a beautiful selection of Barolo and Barbaresco from a selection of great producers including Giacomo Conterno and Bruno Giacosa.
