A WHITE JADE 'MYTHICAL BEASTS' CARVING
EARLY QING DYNASTY, 17TH-18TH CENTURY
The stone is carved in the round as a camel-like mythical animal with a goatee and gently-humped back, alongside a smaller reclining animal with pricked ears. The even white stone has concentrated areas of pale russet.
