A SMALL QINGBAI-GLAZED FOLIATE DISH
SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)
The dish is formed with shallow rounded sides and an eight-lobed foliate rim and is decorated to the interior cavetto with a raised line of slip separating each petal. It is covered in an attractive pale glaze with a bluish tinge, pooling within the crevices.
4 3/4 in. (12.1 cm.) diam.
