A LARGE CARVED AND MOULDED LONGQUAN CELADON TRIPOD CENSER
MING DYNASTY, 15TH CENTURY
The compressed censer is supported on three animal-mask supports, and is carved freely with a diaper pattern between two narrow registers of flower-head-form bosses. The censer is covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone, with the exception of the unglazed centRE and base.
