YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The bowl is delicately incised to the interior with the Eight Buddhist Emblems, Bajixiang, above a band of ruyi-heads. There are three bands of scrolling foliage, floral sprays and triangular leaves encircling the tall foot. It is covered in a clear glaze, pooling to a slightly bluish tinge within the crevices.
7 3/8 in. (18.8 cm.) diam.
