CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, XVIIIEME-XIXEME SIECLE
The washer is finely carved as a large lotus leaf raised on its curved stem along with the stems of further trailing lotus pods which are tied in a bundle forming the base, with two snails resting on the edge of the leaf. The stone is of a translucent pale lilac tone with some minor creamy inclusions.
