The group comprises a bottle decorated with a duck to one side; a bottle carved with a bat in flight above a recumbent Buddhist lion, with the reverse depicting a meditating monk; a bottle carved with a chilong amidst scrolling clouds; a bottle carved to one side with a cockerel and a leafy lingzhi spray; a bottle decorated with a dragon-head fish; and a bottle carved to one side with two bats, with the reverse carved with a frog on a lotus spray. The semi-translucent stones range from pale beige to darker honey tones, with brownish-black inclusions cleverly utilised to highlight the details of the carvings.
