CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE QIANLONG (1736-1795)
The handle is carved in the form of a camel's head with carefully-rendered trappings, while the eyes are highlighted with ruby-coloured stones. The forehead is further adorned with a ruby-coloured stone. The jade is of an even tone.
5 1/8 in. (13 cm.) long, wood stand

With S. Bulgari, Rome, in the early 1960s.
