The ruyi head is finely carved as a large lingzhi decorated with a pavilion emerging from foaming waves, partially surmounted by a phoenix. The long shaft is carved in high relief with a scrolling dragon and numerous smaller lingzhi growing from gnarled stems. The stone is of a pale even tone with some white cloudy inclusions; small chip.
