MONGOLIE, DEBUT DU XVIIIEME SIECLE
Buddha Shakyamuni is seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with his right hand in bhumisparshamudra while the left rests on his lap supporting the alms-bowl. He is dressed in monks robe with a section draped over his left shoulder in the shape of a swallow’s tail. His face displays a serene expression with downcast eyes and urna. His curled hair and ushnisha topped with a lotus-bud; unsealed.
