A four-case ivory inro
carved in relief with the legend of Choryo, depicting a figure on the back of a dragon among waves presenting a shoe to the figure on a mule on a bridge, on a cell-pattern ground, the interior in nashiji -- 2.3/4.in (7cm) long; attached gold lacquer manju netsuke applied with a gilt-bronze menuki modelled as a kneeling figure before a bowl -- 1.1/4.in (3.2cm) long, signed Shinsai.
