A Shibayama style gold lacquer four-case inro
decorated in hiramakie and inlaid in mother-of-pearl, horn, stained ivory and coral with a long-tailed bird perched on prunus branches, the reverse with a butterfly among flowersprays, on a kinji and nashiji ground decorated with coiled dragons among clouds, the interior in nashiji -- 3.in (7.6cm) long; attached ojime; and an ivory netsuke modelled as a figure on horseback among huts and pine in a rocky landscape -- 1.1/4.in (3.2cm) long, signed, (minor damages).
