The First Signed Wirgman & Co, The Second Signed Romilly à Genève, Movement and Pair Case No. 7064, Both Early 19th Century
Both full plate gilt-finished verge movements, white enamel dials, Roman numerals, circular cases the first blue guilloché enamel back, sunburst design with central florets blue and white enamel leaf motif to the rims, diamond-set spacers, white and blue enamel strips to the pendant and bow, the second pair case, plain inner case, outer pair case with polychrome enamel portrait of two young lovers in a landscape with white and black enamel border with gilt swag, all surrounded by a blue enamel background with green enamel and gilt floral motif, engraved band, paste-set bezel, the first cuvette signed, the second dial and movement signed
