A Chinese ivory fan
painted in gouache on paper with three cartouches depicting views of Macau with numerous trade boats before the waterfront hongs flying flags on a ground of birds amongst scrolling flowers, the reverse painted with numerous figures at leisure on the terraces of a pavilion in a tree strewn garden within a border of flowers and precious objects, the pierced ivory spokes decorated with figures on terraces and in gardens, the outer frames carved in relief with similar design -- 20.1/2in. (52cm) wide, 18th century, (old wear).
