Brightly decorated on the exterior with scholars, dignitaries, lady musicians and attendants, one figure riding a Buddhist lion, another a dragon, another a qilin, and a fourth a phoenix
The jardinière 18½ in. (47 cm.) diam., with later ornate gilt wood stand, 33 5/8 in. (85.5 cm.) high overall
