Including two armchairs, reeded overall, the flame mahogany-veneered top rails over triple splats headed by foliate capitals, the seats upholstered in yellow silk damask, all rear seat rails with journeyman's stamp "IR"

Two chairs with the same journeyman's stamp "IR" formed part of a suite of cream-painted George III seat-furniture which sold in An English Look, Christie's South Kensington, 8 July 2009, lot 71.
