Tapering form with ebonised wood handle affixed at right angle to spout, the latter faceted and with hinged cap, the domed cover with narrow applied band and hinged finial, small fluted scroll thumb-piece and secured by a large pin with chain attachment, one side engraved with a vacant baroque cartouche, cut-card decoration behind junctions of handles and forming a trefoil-end strap below hinge of finial
