Carved and pierced overall with scrolling foliage and birds, the hinged top inset with gilt-tooled leather writing surface, enclosing two short drawers and a long dummy drawer, with a further drawer to the side with five compartments and a pen tray, above a cupboard enclosing four graduated filing drawers, on bird and fish carved supports terminating in monkey carved feet, on castors
