A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE BOWL AND A GREEN-GROUND BRINJAL BOWL
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The first decorated with various flowers, insects and rocks, the interior decorated with a flower to the centre and the rim with a diaper and floral border; the second decorated with sprays of lotus, magnolia, chrysanthemum and peony reserved on a green ground, the interior decorated with a lingzhi fungus to the centre, the base has a lingzhi fungus in underglaze blue within a double circle
The largest 8 5/8 in. (22 cm.) diam.
