A LARGE ZITAN WAISTED CIRCULAR STAND
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The top has a raised central disk within a raised, finely beaded outer edge further carved on the sides with a keyfret pattern, above a pierced gallery and supported by a pierced waist finely carved with floral scroll and ruyi heads. Finely carved petal lappets encircle the shoulder below a pierced gallery and above shaped, reticulated aprons carved with floral scroll that join the five thick, ruyi-form feet.
3 ½ in. (9 cm.) high, 7 ½ in. (19.2 cm.) diam.
