SELJUK IRAN, 12TH CENTURY
On short straight foot, the globular body rising to a tapering neck and round rim, the under-glaze moulded decoration consisting of large palmettes within geometric forms, intact, with fitted wooden case
12 ½in. (31.8cm.) high

From a Private Collection, Japan, acquired from Watanabe in the 1970s
Accompanied by a presentation box by Ichikawa Kiyoshi (1898-1987)
